The subsequent history of the building saw it put to a wide variety of uses, including a boy\u2019s borstal, workers\u2019 housing, the office of a political party, and in modern times an office for the National Association of Swedish Architects.<\/p>\n The story from 1770 is in the walls. This has been strengthened and developed to the specific concepts that characterize many of Hellsten\u2019s hotels. Strong colors on the rooms\u2019 walls, furniture in typical Gustavian style, antiques from all corners of the world and articles from exciting places spiced with unexpected details. Unique original porcelain tile fireplaces, some of the brand Gustafsberg, remain in the building.<\/span><\/p>\n The building is formed around the cobblestoned yard, contributing to a cultural environment that is experienced with graceful shivers. There is also an old littleleaf linden tree in the yard, which was planted when the building was erected 250 years ago.
